A typical day at work: Setting up the classroom, cleaning if needed, being certain training material was available, and I was ready to address the class in a professional manner and was certain of my knowledge of the course. Delivering the course.
What I learned: That I was able to successfully deliver a course to adult men and women of different backgrounds and know they were ready for the work they applied for. I also learned how to manage time.
Management: Professional group, supportive and appreciative to us, the instructors, for a job well done.
Workplace culture: Customer satisfaction, quality, team effort, responsibility, performance, communication, work environment.
Hardest part of job: Working with other instructors who just took over my part of the delivery, which was very frustrating.
Most enjoyable: Observing the class on the last day of training, knowing they were ready for the job they were taught, and being ready to go home to their families.
