This position requires a hands-on candidate and one who is on-board with management by walking around. This is not paper / report driven organization.
Promotes safety equally to quality, cost, product, employee relations, and all other company functions.
Implements and facilitates strategies and develop action plans to support Telex Metals’ strategic initiatives.
Implements quality standards that will exceed our customers’ expectations, achieve the highest efficiency possible at minimal manufacturing costs.
Organizes the daily operations to meet production schedules.
Removes waste and constraints from the processes to improve efficiencies and increase production.
Facilitates plant upkeep by monitoring processing equipment so that is stays in good working order, and repair or replace the equipment via a successful PM Program.
Review production schedules for all manufacturing jobs to insure that established inventory levels are met while operating at the lowest achievable cost.
We are an ISO 13485:2003 for International Quality System Standard – Medical Devices and conforms to Quality System Regulations (QSR) as defined in 21 CFR 820.
Provide leadership for successful day-to-day operations.
Strong computer skills including the ability to prepare spreadsheets and use Microsoft Office Products. excellent planning and organizational skills, with the ability to balance production and all other company functions.
Education. A bachelor's degree in industrial and manufacturing engineering, industrial management, or other related field such as industrial maintenance or 10 years of operations with progressive experience in a key leadership/management role at a small to medium manufacturing facility, who will be able to grow quickly as the company grows.
Experience in refractory metals, metal powders, metallurgy is beneficial, but not required.
Experience In Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) is beneficial but not required.
