Product development (Former Employee) – Aliso Viejo, CA – January 4, 2016
Company started out with lots of energy and potential, but started chasing revenue at the expense of the employees. Leaders stopped listening to key contributors, and became convinced that past success was proof that they were infallible. Upper level meetings became an echo chamber where the founders only wanted to hear how smart they are. They stopped listening to legitimate concerns about being able to grow the company without sacrificing existing customers. Middle management became saturated with inexperienced yes-men while creative problem solvers were harassed until they resigned. Blindly do what you are told, and you will succeed at Telogis.
The company got a lot of funding, a new office, etc. but all the money in the world won't save you from poor management. They will tell you that there is a lot of opportunity but that's only to make sure you do not work 9-5, which is what they repeatedly reminded me. I've never worked 9-5 in any of my previous jobs but why would you want you want your employer to repeatedly remind you of this when you actually aren't working 9-5?
The salary and "culture" were enough to draw me in. During your interview, you will be told all about their new employee orientation. New employees get wined and dined for one week at company headquarters in Southern California and will undergo day-long training seminars. Sounded great to me! I quickly discovered that it was a sink or swim environment. Manager was not only inexperienced at dealing with different personalities but was highly unprofessional, rude and immature with her use of language in and out of meetings. If you want to maintain a sense of sanity and have a decent work/life balance, look elsewhere.

Customer Technical Support (Former Employee) – Aliso Viejo, CA – April 12, 2012
Company is growing at an alarming rate. Good management values and very fast paced. Rated as both one of the best companies to work for in Orange County, and fastest growing as rated in the Orange County Business Journal. A top notched, privately owned organization.
