I have been working at Telquest full-time (More than 17years)
I have been in the communications industry since 1969 and for the last 17 years right here in the tech support department at Telquest International sharing my years of knowledge and experience Telquest International's customers.
I take care of Telquest International's customers giving tech support over the phone and managing the repair department that has 4 communications Engineers of which 3 have been here longer than me.
I had my own Interconnect company for 12 years so I understand what having someone to call when I needed help meant to me, and ironically it was Telquest that I called before I came to work for them, so I get satisfaction from being able to help other technicians or end users when they have questions about telephone systems.
Five years ago I moved to Pennsylvania and since the office is in New Jersey, I drive one and a half hours each way to work, I think that is a testimonial to how much I like working at Telquest, believe me I would not be driving 3 hours a day to a job that I didn't love.
I've been to 3 Weddings and and 3 Funerals luckily none were mine, but my point is it my coworkers are like my extended family in fact I spend way more time with them than my own Family with all the commuting, and I can honestly say there is no one here that I don't like and I interact with everyone in the Company since I wear many other hats in my daily schedule. So if you were to ask me if I think Telquest is a great place to work I would tell you that I am very lucky to have found a home here.
Advice to Management
Reward the people that make your Company what it is and don't hold on to dead wait, there are employees that are on your side don't feel like it's you against them the company is our livelihood too.
