Good work experience
Neonatal-Pediatric Respiratory Therapist (Current Employee), Philadelphia, PA –
Wonderful learning opportunities. Not a lot of room for growth. Poor communication between management and staff. The most enjoyable part of my job is knowing that I am involved in the progressive care of premature infants.

Nice place to work.
Lung Center Representative (Current Employee), Philadelphia, PA –
Pros: great medical staff, nice administrator, medical benefits, tuition reimbursement
Cons: unwilling to promote new rn graduates
I've had several positions at the hospital over the past 18 years. A typical day in my current position includes constant telephone interaction with medical insurance providers as well as heavy interaction with patients; both in person and by phone. I work in a very large department, with a close-knit staff, (including medical and administrative staff) – more...  I prefer to call the staff my "work family" as opposed to co-workers. The most difficult parts of my job are: losing patients to illness and having insurance companies deny request for medications and procedures for the patients. The most enjoyable part of my job is knowing that what I do on a daily basis is helping to promote the health and well-being of individuals with chronic illness. Knowing that what I do really "matters" is my primary motivation. – less

Hard place to work due to amount of trauma cases.
CT Technologist/Shift Manager (Former Employee), Philadelphia –
Pros: great benefits, not always get lunch break (2nd shift)
Cons: lack of staff on 2nd shift and tough case load, inc. trauma and or
Only the best would stick it out due to multiple trauma cases (I scanned 13 in one shift). The 2nd shift crew was fun, laughed all the time, ate the best fast food in the neighborhood, If you did your job well our department manager was always complimentary.
