Very productive and fun place to work
Radiologic Technologist, PRN (Current Employee), Blue Springs, MO – May 18, 2013
Pros: being around amazing people and being able to perform high quality care
Cons: no benefits.
We are a very busy facility. I love my coworker and the patient's who are there. I love being able to come to work everyday and working hard as well as enjoying my coworkers and patient's. The only negative is when a machine (the equipment) will go down or delay. But for the most part, this does not happen. The most enjoyable part of my day is that – more... I get to work and associate with amazing people and always leave at the end of my shift with a positive attitude and smile. – less

Pay is competitive but limited chances for advancement for Union Members with degrees
Linen Associate (Current Employee), Philadelphia, PA – May 8, 2013
My day starts at 9 AM and ends at 5:30. What I learned in Hahnemann is that patient care is number one. Management is okay, however upper management does not recognize the service departments. My co-workers are very pleasant and older, but good workers. The most enjoyable part of my life is the patients that appreciate the services that my department – more... delivers. The hardest part of the job is trying to move up in the hospital. It is easier for non-union members to advance as compared to union members. – less

..
Central Transport (Current Employee), Salem, MA – May 6, 2013
A typical day at work for me would have to be being able to assist to the patient needs, it's my job and instant to make the patient as comfortable as I can when I'm transporting them to any place inside the facility. It actually makes me feel good as a human being that I did a good job. The hardest part of the job would have to be when one of my co-workers – more... are sick because then that means is extra work for the day but I do the best I can and just do my job. – less

Loved working in hospital enviornment. Good company with good benefits. Plenty of resources and opportunity for continued education
Charge Nurse (Former Employee), Jackson, Ga. – May 3, 2013
Pros: benefits, job security
Cons: sometimes unable to take a break
A typical day started with getting report from previous shift and making a schedule for myself and other nurses based on acuity and patient numbers. Patient assessments were done in order of acuity. I maintained charge nurse duties as needed as well as patient care duties. The hardest part of the job was seeing patients who were dying and counseling – more... with families. I enjoyed with different people and meeting new people. – less

Administrative Assistant III (Former Employee), Atlanta, GA – April 24, 2013
Pros: it was an exciting work environment to work in-inside of a level 3 trauma hospital
Cons: i relocated back to maryland for my daughter
My review of working for Tenet Healthcare was an organization that prided itself on placing their patients and employees needs first. What I learned from my managers at Tenet Healthcare was balancing my professional and educational life.

Productive
Financial Counselor (Former Employee), Atlanta, GA – April 13, 2013
Pros: free parking, wellness center gym and pool, lunch passes.
Cons: constantly separating departments to outside companies.
Atlanta Medical is in the top five ranking of Atlanta's hospitals.
When I was there I loved my job and working throughout the entire campus; admission, inpatient, outpatient, emergency room and also the psychology ward or Newton House. Of course at that time they had only One financial counselor, Me. They have changed mangement several times since I – more... left and have restructured the facility a couple of times, but the good care and concern for their customers keep them number one in their community. – less
