We have an immediate opening for Community Coordinators. Apply at www.tlusa.org/growwithus.
Terra Lingua USA is an established non-profit organization that specializes in cultural exchange programs for all ages. We believe that bringing cultures together the world will become more tolerant and understanding.
We have students from all over the world looking to expand their education both academically and culturally here in the United State and are seeking Community Coordinators to help us families interested in hosting them. While this is a part-time position that can be done mostly from home during nights and weekends, Coordinators must be willing and able to work under deadlines and take responsibility for placements. As a Community Coordinator you will use your community involvement, the internet, and networking skills to recruit host families year round. You will complete tasks and paperwork following the US Department of State regulations. You will assist the host family in selecting a student that is best for them and provide program management until the student's program has ended.
Students are carefully vetted, medically insured, speak English and have their own spending money. Families provide room and board, and a willingness to treat the student as a member of their family.
