A good place to adjunct if you have a primary job
Adjunct Instructor (Current Employee), Fremont, OHSeptember 21, 2013
This is a decent place to adjunct, but there's not much room for advancement no matter how great your evaluations are.

micromanaged, stressful environment
Support Staff (Former Employee), Fremont, OHApril 23, 2013
Pros: most employees are caring, nice, and hard working.
Cons: leadership is lacking.
Management doesn't care about the employees or students - they only care about the money, and having "power" over the employees. The atmosphere is one of fear and mistrust. Terra's culture is NOTHING like it was when the employees all felt like family.

I was not only a student, but also an employee - I am so glad that I no longer work there!

Working with students is rewarding, but culture is becomming one of distrust.
Coordinator, Disability Services & Academic Impr. (Former Employee), Fremont, OHMarch 5, 2012
Pros: tuition reimbursement, union protection
Cons: low pay, negative environment
The organizational culture at Terra has turned to one of distrust and manipulation. Reorganization regulary occurs with little thought to seniority or performance.
