Don't work there, you will regret it
Director of Nursing (Current Employee) –  Fremont, OHMarch 23, 2017
Terra State claims to be team oriented, however, they do not welcome those who have not worked their way up through the ranks. The faculty in certain programs are nothing more than bullies and upper management tolerates this behavior. One program in particular have gone through 3 directors because of this. This program needs help and the faculty are not willing to step outside of their comfort zone to bring the dying program back. Instead they would rather continue to do the same thing that they have been doing and watch the program slowly die. The dean and associate dean as well as the administrative assistants are amazing,, but the faculty are horrific.

The staff and faculty truly care about the students. That is evident in everything that they do...from beginning to end.

Adjunct Instructor (Current Employee) –  Fremont, OHSeptember 21, 2013
This is a decent place to adjunct, but there's not much room for advancement no matter how great your evaluations are.

Support Staff (Former Employee) –  Fremont, OHApril 23, 2013
Management doesn't care about the employees or students - they only care about the money, and having "power" over the employees. The atmosphere is one of fear and mistrust. Terra's culture is NOTHING like it was when the employees all felt like family.

I was not only a student, but also an employee - I am so glad that I no longer work there!
Pros
most employees are caring, nice, and hard working.
Cons
leadership is lacking.
