If you're a technician, come in, get your assignment and do it. Don't get any mud on the carpet. Save for winter because you will be laid off prior to Christmas.
A very stressful workplace and racist.

If you considered professional staff, you have some latitude for taking an occasional vacation or taking PTO for dealing with sickness. If you are field staff (technicians), you have few options. Don't get sick or expect to take your PTO. Also, raises do not amount to more than cost-of-living, so negotiate hard for that initial compensation package - it's the best you're going to do.
Technicians are considered a necessary evil. They love you when you start, but if you have the nerve to have a sick child or want to continue your education, they start looking to get rid of you. There is very little work/life balance. You are expected to show up even on days when there is no work available (and since you can't take your work vehicle home, it's on your dime - you can't call to inquire).
The culture at Terracon is one that is very disturbing. Engineers are highly favored and Technicians are looked down upon and treated as second class citizens.
You are expected to work. No time for chit chat.
If you are given bad instructions by a supervisor, and make an embarrassing mistake, the supervisor will drop the hammer on you as they only care about covering their backsides to keep from getting fired.
