This company is the corporate raider of all small laboratories, low pay,but steady sometimes overwhelming work. Through the 1990s I witnessed more mom and pop places like NETlabs and Howard Labs, being bought out as a whole liquidation and employees were treated like a liability not as an asset. The hardest part of job was trying to understand where this company was going they seemed clueless on vision and it showed with upper management in the Far South. Each director did not know how to take on more work without revamping the work place with better equipment to handle clients load work. It was either feast or famine.
The most enjoyable part was the coworkers in each laboratory for the most part. Overtime was more in spring than winter which sometimes lead to early days of release from work.
good benefits at that time
safety not number one priority, low pay, sketchy salespeople, management clueless
