The daily challenge, and the full support.
Instrumentation & Controls Engineer (Former Employee), Mexico, MO – June 9, 2013
Pros: great team, very professional, and great leadership.
Cons: the only thing that bothered me for years is the daily commute (50mn), so, for the future job, i would like to live closer.
A typical day at TEVA PHARMACEUTICALS starts with early morning meeting with the head of production, safety manager, project manager, mechanical engineer supervisor and the project engineer( my self). I get the daily report of issues from the night before and the future projects. Then, I get a second meeting with my co-workers, the maintenance team. – more... I get each engineer and technician the day's tasks. and then a do the fallow up the rest of the day. Also I concentrate on the future projects with the help of my supervisor(Project manager). I design the process, and search instrumentation and contact suppliers and contractors. The hardest part of the job is dealing with absolute equipment, but the most enjoyable part of my job is the daily challenge and learning every moment something new. – less

Company is in the middle of significant transformations since new COE took over in May 2012.
Sr. Manager (Former Employee), North Wales, PA – April 15, 2013
Business culture lacks current best practice thinking.
Sr. Management & project sponsors often times deflect accountability to others who don't have the power to drive change.
Don't understand how they can leverage Lean Sigma expert resources so help them improve their business processes.
People were very friendly and easy to work with.

Manufacturing Operations Specialist (Current Employee), Cincinnati, OH – March 5, 2013
Pros: great benefits, advancement opportunities
Cons: difficult times right now. work life balance is not very balanced at the moment.
Teva is very rewarding place to work. I had no pharmaceutical experience when I started with Teva but was given plenty of opportunity to grow and gain valuable experience. Teva will challenge you everyday. Just be ready to dive in head first.

Good Benefits Poor Management
Facilities Maintenance Department Assistant (Current Employee), Irvine, CA – January 24, 2013
Pros: excellent benefits
Cons: management!
The company is a good company overall. the Management at the Irvine, CA facilitiy however, have there priorities mixed up! it is ran like a popularity show in the Maintenance Department. everyone is at war with eachother and if you are not on the Metrology's managers team then your mostlikely going to get treated like your nobody because he runs the – more... show some how with no Degree and knows nothing. The Supervisor and him have a team that they are working together and who ever they do not like they will get you fired. I would recommend working at Teva but, definately not Irvine, Ca facility they are doing layoffs and they are also asking people to "volunatrily" leave so that it does not look like they are laying off more then they are for there stockholders to know what they are doing. – less

It's a sweat shop mentality. Teva doesn't truly care about their staff. Just do what I say and shut up and be happy you have a job, that's teva!
Past employee at Teva (Current Employee), NJ,NY, PA and VA – January 5, 2013
Pros: great people who do the actual work
Cons: the management and human resources stinks.
There are two good things about Teva. The people who do the actual work and don't get paid what they are worth. The second it has good benefits.
If you need benfits Teva's the place for you.

However, if you don't want to used and abuse by Teva's Human Resources, middle management, upper management and up, DON'T APPLY. The hardest part of the job is – more... watching the decisions management makes and the affect it has on the grunts it is shameful.

They are not concerned aboout their staff. The only thing they are concerned about is how much money management can shove it their own pockets.

If you are a grunt you will get a bonus, the only good thing about their bonous and raises is its better than a stick in your eye. And taht isn't saying much!

If you get hired at teva, just remember I told you so. But if you are hired for a management position, you will get away with any dirty deeds that you do. Why? Because your are management and you will stink as well, because that's teva culture.

I'm looking for a new job. – less

JPC1 – January 16, 2013

You're probably just disgruntled because your review was bad, If it was so bad you shouldn't have worked at 4 sites or claimed to work at those sites. I've worked in all those sites in addition to another one in the SE and I always got rewarded accordingly. I'll always have my door open for Teva. Don't slander the company.

Nice cafeteria. Fairly easy place to work if you like going fast.
Pharmaceutical Operator (Former Employee), Sellersville, PA – December 28, 2012
I learned how to work with a wide variety of people. Management was pretty good quality. They promote much from within. The hardest part was the flow; sometimes too rushed other days numbingly slow.

The company participated in a lot of charitable events and encouraged everyone else to join in with incentives to do so, this was one of the most enjoyable things about working for this company.

Very Stressful Place to Work
Management (Former Employee), Forest, VA – October 23, 2012
Pros: on your birthday you recieve a free lunch
Cons: too much overtime no time for your family or a life
The company is in a transition in Management from the top to the bottom. Removed all of HR and replace with people whom are not willing to listen or help. Teva brought out Barr several years ago and nothing is consisted but the overtime. Hardest part of the job was keeping to a schedule. The Manufacturing schedule would change everyday. No one really – more... took charge in any departments. I learn alot from Barr/ Teva about fudumentals, cGMP. I would say not a bad job as long as you are not managment.Tthe best pat about the job is the area the people are very nice. – less
