You have to sell lots of life insurance or things won't work out. The only complaint I have is that the commission on life products is well below industry standard. Hard to dedicate the time to sell life insurance when other lines of insurance are what pay your bills.
You are managed to expectations, not micro-managed.
Treated like an employee, yet you are an independant contracter.

The Farm Bureau is a great place to have a career. If you have the opportunity to get a position here, take the chance. I'm leaving because the only open positions are positions that I'm not experienced in.

TXFB is an excellent company to work for. The leadership spends a lot of time focusing on the employees. They want the employees to succeed in every aspect of their lives. I enjoy the flexibility to do my job, in my own set hours, and with the earned authority to make decisions. The hardest part of the job is dealing with the aftermath of an insured when the loss of life is involved. Restoring our customers lives in the best part of the job.

This is a great company with great ethics. Very goal oriented. We always look out for the customers best interest. We are a small office of very hard working individuals, the office is more of a family than work group. The agency manager is a very good man to work for and always looks out for his employees and treats everyone with the upmost respect.
