poor management, huge employee turn overs

Pros: 8 hours shift
A typical day at work was busy and sometime chaotic, specially on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, because normally those days were extremely short of staff. I've learned a lot about orthopedic nursing because of busy schedules, I have experienced all kinds of situations. I've met and worked with many great nurses. The hardest part of this job was the – more...  very high employee turn overs. From the management to staff nurses. The CNO, directors, supervisors etc. changed many faces during my a year and a half of employment in this hospital. The number of agency nurses they hired were very high. The most enjoyable part of my job was getting positive responses from my patients and watching them recover and heal. I do enjoy working on a orthopedic floor. I'd like to continue working in the orthopedic field. – less
