I work in the kitchen. I go out to the dining room and serve food to the residents there. I get to interact with the residents daily. I get to learn about them and I get to learn some skills as doing that. I have to be patience because some of the residents are disable or mentally challenged. This helps me to learn how to talk to different kinds of people and how to be around them. I learned that you have to treat them like normal people because they don't want to be looked as different. For some of them the nursing home is their home and so you get to create a bond with some of them.
