My work day would start and end with helping as many customers and co-workers as possible. I loved my job here do to it being a fast pace place and learned something new everyday. I loved meeting new guest everyday.

knows how to handle different kinds of people. i work 5 to 6 hours a day. my co-workers were so friendly. the management are great.

All the Managers, Servers, Cooks and Hosts got along great and sure did make the shifts fly by.

A typical day can be said about everyday. Steady business and interesting customers from the hotel. Poor income from the tips and late nights at work. Management was fair and followed efficient protocol procedures.

Hard work clearing plates ,cleaning it all and making shore there where all was plates , cutlery, dipping bowels .and helping out the stuff where I can . friendship ,trust , helpfulness and responsibly .
the weekend ,or a total up to down clean .but all fun with good people
and a laugh . having good people to work with .

A typical day at work included serving tables and making sure the customer was happy with the brand Friday's represents. This was all with making sure I was keeping my team members happy by doing additional side work (usually cleaning duties) assigned to me. very never a positive comment from the DO. Never had anything good to say and it was never enough support from the DO..

This company would like to clone robots to filter their everchanging, inconsistent messaging and goals. If you are a free thinker who identifies with your guests....this is not the company for you. If you ever decide to begin a career in restaurant management- do NOT begin here. This company will teach you the WRONG style to manage your staff & guests.

Let me be completely honest. A typical day at TGI Fridays in Allentown used to be fun and exciting to work for. the company was sold to a larger corporation that would talk down to its employees. Management changed because of all the stress this new company brought. Train all new employees on the daily functions of the restaurant and teach safety guidelines to all new employees

Managent was not that good

A typical day involved processing invoices, data entry, making sure we were compliant with all employee paperwork.

The job itself is great. It's a great place to work with great people. The only thing that i would say is a down fall is that at first management was not on the same page but they have definitely got it together now.

I'm sure the day to day at any given TGI Fridays is relatively similar. I'm not the biggest fan of the Destin GM.

This is an ideal teamwork environment. I love everything about working here. I just wish that I had more hours, and that the business were more high paced. It's just very slow, and the tips aren't always there. I will never leave completely. I love it some much I plan to keep it as a part-time, once I find something full-time. fast pace food service enviroment for people who are looking to go home with tips daily

Overall, working for TGI Friday's was a positive experience. Food safety, product innovation and atmosphere make TGI Friday's a desirable place for guests and employees. The compensation package is better than that of its competitors but this is still the restaurant business so quality of life is sub-par.
