Work environment is very interactive, most of the time spent on status and performance review meetings to ensure projects are on track and cost and quality is in compliance with the baseline plan
The greatest lesson learned was the importance of performing proper risk analysis to prevent project failures. The need to do bottom up estimates to reduce the risk of running out funds.
Management style was integrative, based on team work and big picture approach. Projects were approached using the PMLC, SDLC & PDCA models, while accountability, creativity and innovation was encouraged.
Excellent interpersonal relations, mixed with fun, team work and brotherliness. Conflicts were minimal and if any, were quickly resolved
The hardest part of the job was acquiring funding for projects, which required consistent negotiations with Lenders and financial institutions
The most enjoyable part of the job was when projects were delivered on - time, on - budget and within scope.
