The Data Coordinator position is a part-time position funded through a federal grant. The contract for this position is dependent upon funding which is expected to continue through June 30, 2014.
The Data Coordinator will assist the Shenendehowa Community Coalition. The Data Coordinator has primary responsibility for needs assessment and collection of process/outcome data. He/she will be trained and receive technical assistance required to collect data specific to the grant and necessary to effectively report outcomes to federal and state funders.
1.Gather and maintain data necessary to understand the context and impact of underage drinking on local community
2.Structure and conduct a comprehensive needs assessment of the local community
3.Analyze data from student surveys
4.Assist with presentations of data to the coalition, school board and other constituencies
5.Design and conduct regular evaluations of coalition initiatives
6.Complete all data reports required by funders
7.Attend all mandated meetings and trainings as requested by state and federal project staff
8.Work as a team member, under the supervision of the Coalition Coordinator & Project Director
9.Work with colleagues in the Prevention Council, other partner organizations, regional consortia and national coalitions as relevant
10.Perform all other duties as assigned by the Coalition Development Director
The Data Coordinator position requires approximately 17.5 hours a week at an hourly rate of pay of $16.50.
