Nice place to work if you dont need to support yourself
Cake Decorator/Bakery Clerk (Current Employee), Reynoldsburg, OHMarch 15, 2015
Pros: customer relationships, friendly faces, store managers listen
Cons: low pay, no breaks, heavy work load
I love working for this company. The workers are so nice & really helpful. Everyone always has a smile on their face. I work in the bakery department. I have very flexible hours & work alone almost every day. Im not a big fan of my department manage but no one likes their boss. My pay is higher than most Ive spoken to for some reason but its still not enough to get me by. They hire in Part time only – more... 95% of the time so theres no option for benefits. The only time you can go full time (& start benefits) is after youve been there a year & most times switch departments to replace someone. You will never have an opportunity to go full time if you work in the meat dept, deli, or bakery. Its just not an option. I really adore the store & my coworkers but once I move on I think Ill be much happier just being a shopper. – less

Good people to work with...Alot of team spirit
Team Leader/barista (Former Employee), Maumee, OHJuly 9, 2013
Arrive at work by 5:45 am to start the coffee, put freshly baked goods in bakery cases(donuts, danishes, fresh bread etc).
Get this ready for the start of a retail day..Some-days ordered supplies.
Sometimes the hardest part of the job could be the customers, but the customer is always right.
Was well liked by most people at the store.
The most enjoyable part of the job was working with the roaster Schuil, and coming up with new lattes and cappuccino drinks

Anderson's isn't a bad place to work. Just average.
Loss Prevention Officer (Former Employee), Maumee, OHMarch 21, 2012
Pros: clean friendly work enviroment, basic benefits and employee discount.
Cons: may have to work different locations, all different work hours a week
Anderson's has very nice stores, although older. Clean working enviroment. Depending on the job title, fairly decent benefits. Because of the job description, Loss Prevention Officer has to work different stores throughout the work week, all different hours.
