My little girl need me more at the time. I was a on-site supervisor that account for more than 15 years. Since Xerox lost that account to ARC, the director of Energy Transfer asked to stay with ARC. I had a great relationship and respected from all the folks at ET. I earned through hard work and dedication. I was promised to have the same benefit and pay as I was with Xerox. It did not happen and my health plan, I paid 3 time more with ARC than with Xerox. I was there to support and help ET grow. My job responsibilities were to manage our daily operation. From sorting mail delivery on-time, supporting IT with Xerox Multifunction printers. Serviced and on-site maintained 58 MFPs, inventory control all ET related field products, run a on-site print shop. Outsourcing overload print jobs to 3rd party vendors. Most importantly, I was there to give ET facility management the best of my knowledge in printing industry so they could make the right call to benefit ET as a whole. My boss and ARC sale person wanted me to send everything to ARC Print Center. By refused doing so, I had a rough time with them. It's been 15 yrs every job that I vended out I had to have a least 3-4 vendors to bid on it including ARC. It's all about competing best price, best quality and on-time delivery. Its not about YOU're working for US(ARC), you have to send all jobs to our print shop. ARC quote most often 2 time as much, quality being complain, and never on-time as promise. When a client complained about pricing, quality, delivering, I am the one who take the heat. I think it's better being with my baby than doing the work that you don't like so I quit.
