My typical day on the job
Grievance Appeals Coordinator (Current Employee), Southfield, MI – April 21, 2013
Pros: i get one hour lunch everyday
Cons: i am a contract employee
My is very challenging, everyday is a different day, the cases I handle on a daily basis are all different. I am under a time constraint everyday. I work independently, I am not micro managed, and I have flexed hours. These are just a few qualities that I really enjoy about my job. I have no cons to say about my position. I really enjoy what I do.

Professional workplace and excellent rapport with fellow co-workers
Administrative Support Area (Current Employee), Dayton, OH – April 18, 2013
A typical day at work consists of:

- Reviewing e-mails
- Copying documentation
- Preparing documents for DHL / Fed. Express
- Obtaining Visas and Passports for co-workers for
international travel
- Interacting with Human Resources in a "confidential" manner
- Scheduling meetings
- Arranging for luncheons
- Ordering office supplies

During my working – more... career, I've been very fortunate to work with and know many people with diversified backgrounds. It's been a truly memorable experience.

The hardest part of my job is when fellow co-workers get reassigned to new positions and losing touch with them and their families.

The most enjoyable part of my job is meeting and working with people. – less

Enjoyable people to work with and for
Technical Writer (Former Employee), Saginaw, MI – January 14, 2013
Pros: exceptional at getting back with you concerning any questions
Cons: i would prefer to work direct rather than a contract position because of job security
The hardest part of the position I held with Bartech was the job that I held was newly created, therefore, there was more idle time than I would normally expect because they didn't really have the job descriptions down yet.

Stressful environment
Workers Compensation Assistant and Trainer (Former Employee), Dearborn, MI – November 15, 2012
I've learned alot about medical bills and codes. A typical day consisted of me keying medical bills and pharmacy bills. I also ran edits for these bills. My direct supervisor was pretty hands off, but a nice person. My direct co-workers were great and so was most of the office. The hardest part of the job was the office politics, but the most enjoyable – more... was the work I did and relationships I developed with my team. – less

Contract /Temp, worked for Bartech for over ten years
Administrative Assistant (Former Employee), Bingham Farms, MI – August 20, 2012
Pros: some nice employees at some of the companys
Cons: watch your back
Most of their jobs are via DTE Energy (not a good company, very hostile enviornment) Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan and Blue Care Network. One thing about Bartech is that they are ALWAYS, NO MATTER WHAT, on the side of their customer. YOU DO NOT have a voice. They act nice but once an assignment has ended they leave you in the dark, every time. – more... Bartech is a minority company and I, personally had an experience where I was discriminated against, I am white. I'm dead serious. Just walk into a BCN (Soutfield or BCBS, Southfied). – less

Outstanding Opportunity
Cost Estimator (Former Employee), Cottondale, AL – July 31, 2012
Pros: better income
Cons: contract position
The Bartech Group gave me a contract opportunity to work for an automotive supplier as a Cost Estimator. This position was very challenging due to the nature of the business. I learned a great deal about the manufacturing of the product line and how costs were developed. A typical day included reviewing any upcoming product line changes and processing – more... those costs. – less

Contract/Temp
Administrative Assistant (Former Employee), Livonia, MI – July 2, 2012
Pros: a temporary job, better than no job
Cons: a very dangerous employment enviornment
Some assignment are great many are not. The agency's will tell you they don't know what situation they're putting you in but they're lying, they absolutely do know. Bartech is always on the side of the customer and they can and would destroy your career for no reason at all. They'll deny that they do this but hundreds of thousands of very competant – more... and honest people will verfiy that contact/temp agencies are dangerous organizations and unstable places to work for. In Michigan, they'll fire (let go) of those whom have worked for temp agencies and hire in those who have strong connections or a past of having worked as a direct hire for a company. You see, the temp ageinces have their ways of promoting people who were direct hires as being better than some temp who worked for them while going to school and earning a degree. It's a sales game and it's all about the money, not human beings. – less
