Manager (Former Employee) – Shippensburg, PA – June 23, 2016
I feel the president of the Company tends to micro-manage and belittle managers in areas that she doesn't really understand thus causing an unnecessarily tense work environment for members of her upper management team. The other employees are good people who are easy to work with. So below is my analysis of the company
Beistle Company with current President- 2 stars Beistle Company without current President- 4 stars
A friendly enviornment where new tasks are always being assigned and learned.
❸ Clerical work (Current Employee) – Shippensburg, PA – April 7, 2015
A typical day includes writing content for products required by certain companies or websites. I always learn new ways to improve my writing skills and computer skills with different programs. My co-workers are helpful and easy going, they always are available to answer my questions or concerns.
Wonderful learning experience and comfortable workplace
Cost Department Special Project Manager (Current Employee) – Shippensburg, PA – July 29, 2014
I worked at The Beistle Company for over four years. It began as a part time job, and eventually turned into a full time job. Within that time period I went from being a summer employee to the person that trained the new summer employees, and gained numerous other responsibilities. The atmosphere was always friendly, and my coworkers were also pleasant to spend time with. However, work was always serious and the relaxed atmosphere quickly disappeared when it became crunch time.
Cost Accountant (Current Employee) – Shippensburg, PA – March 25, 2014
A typical day at work consists of costing (building a bill of manufacture) and inventory. I have learned the hardships of a company transitioning from one system to the next and everyone pulling together to try and understand how to make it work. The hardest part of the job is not having proper communication. However, I love knowing that what I do is important to the financial stability of the company.
