Caregiver, Harleysville, PA - February 20, 2014
On a typical day I would drive from client to client, wherever they might reside, and provide them with assistance with their daily tasks. This includes general house cleaning, bathing, and feeding although this varied from client to client. The most challenging part of the job was the emotional stress while working with patients in critical condition who needed constant care, knowing they may pass away at any time. The most enjoyable part of the job was the general companionship I shared with many of the clients. Working for The Birches at Home made me more patient and exercised my interpersonal communication skills.
