The Blood Connection also provides antibody resolution, regional infectious disease screening, crossmatch, rare donor file, autologous and directed donations, therapeutic donations, frozen blood program, platelet apheresis program, adult stem cell processing and lipid profile screening after the third donation.
The Blood Connection is licensed and inspected by the Food and Drug Administration, accredited and inspected by the American Association of Blood Banks, and inspected by numerous federal and state governmental agencies. All blood tests recommended by these agencies are performed and all safety regulations are met.
Support from companies, churches, schools and civic organizations continues to grow and volunteer blood drives are sponsored by over 1,500 groups.
