I manage the financial activities for our four international offices. I review purchase request forms submitted by the office managers, approve and post invoices to general ledger. I work very closely with the Senior manager for international affairs and with the staff and managers of our corporate office. I support Office Managers with any request or suggestion they may have and provide then with ongoing advice and training.
The hardest part of my job is not being able to speak the language of the countries in which we do business. This is something I intend on working on. The most enjoyable part of my job is working with the Office Managers, they are always eager to learn and ensure that their work is accurate. They are are quick to learn new and more efficient ways of doing their jobs.
