Pros: free lunch, family atmosphere, 3 day work week
Cons: it could be very emotionall trying at times
My work day stared at 7am , I would have a brief meeting with the charge nurse about a care plan for the children and whether or not they had any appointments. I would then dress and feed who ever was assigned to me, and then depending on the age and needs of the child I would perform any scheduled activites that included anything from reading a book, tummy time or assistaning with physical therapy. My co-workers were friendly and very attentive to the needs of the children, the hardest part of the job was watching the children leave and the best part of the job was knowing that I had a part in helping them get healthy enough to leave.
