Job Summary:

Support the Enterprise Messaging services, which include MS Exchange, MS Lync, RightFax and Mobile Device Management systems. Support MS Active Directory, and work closely with IT Security. Oversee the daily performance of messaging and AD environments to support mission critical business processes and applications.


actively participate in team discussion about processes and procedures
engage IT by providing incident ticket resolution and troubleshooting
respond to end-user requests and troubleshoot issues with hardware, software, applications and network associated with the Windows/X86 environment
actively manage and maintain the overall health and availability of messaging systems and AD
provide on call and after hours support as required
improve system performance and scalability through better processes, infrastructure equipment and documentation
prioritize tasks and work semi-independently
provide support for current and future projects that involve the Messaging and AD environments

Education and Certifications desired:

MCSE with a LYNC or Exchange elective


more than five years of experience working with Windows environment - 2K/2K3/2K8 server
working knowledge of Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange and Infrastructure Server services, including DHCP, DNS and Domain Controllers
experience providing support for Windows OS and application design and implementation
good written and verbal communications skills
able to work in a team environment, with the ability to multitask
self motivated
customer service oriented

experience administering MS Lync 2010
knowledge of enterprise PBX or VoIP systems, primarily maintenance and administration, but design or architecture insight is a plus.
ability to write and maintain scripts in PowerShell or VBScript to perform system maintenance
experience with datacenter management tools including BladeLogic, System Center and HP SIM
experience providing support for mobile device management
knowledge of fax utilities and software
experience with configuration and troubleshooting of IIS
experience with VMWare Enterprise, 3.x including HA and DRS
Enterprise Datacenter experience
