First, I was a new employee and was left with no supervision, guidance or support. I had concerns and questions and had no one to ask, since my supervisor was out on maternity leave. I had no instructions on who to call if I needed anything, and was on my own with any issues I had. It wasn't until I was in week 6 ( I was fired at 8 weeks), that I was given any instructions about anything. I lost use of my car, and had no one to talk to. So, I asked a colleague about jobs in the Niagara county area, since I didn't know when I would have a car and it got back to my "supervisor", who still wasn't available, but could call me to tell me how wrong I was to seek out a position that I could do.
I ended up being fired because I had no car, and my "supervisor" told me that her boss was upset about my not going to a woman on maternity about concerns I had for my job. If you accept a position with this "company", be prepared for unorganized, unprofessional behavior like; Having to hand your application in several times because they lose it, having to hand your resume in just as many time. Redoing paperwork that you turned in, because again... They lost it. Also be prepared to be hired and not called for weeks because they have no real clue when their centers will actually open. And please don't have a child that needs childcare, because half of their centers are understaffed and the other half are not open at all.
Must be psychic in order to not get in trouble for not showing to meetings that you didn't know were happening.
