A fun learning experience with hard working professional employers and employees
Housekeeping Supervisor (Current Employee) – Harlem, NY – March 7, 2016
When I wake up and go to work for the doe fund, i feel refreshed and eager. Everyday is a learning experience. i've learned a great deal about how to deal with the residents that help maintain this facility. I don't just give the entry level residents to this facility part time jobs, i also provide them with security, encouragement and help them build a positive attitude in order to regain stability. The management team here are coworkers who have a professional yet "homely" attitude towards the residents and each other in order to not only create a comfortable work setting but to deal with residents on a personal sometimes on a personal level. The hardest part of the job would be watching this environment revolve. So many resident and staff here move on to other fields of work or have left the doe fund permanently. It seems as if the most enjoyable part of this job is being able to put my own program together that works smoothly for the facility and myself.
great work ethics, smooth days, flexible hours.
lousy salary, sometimes overworked
