Fun place to work at
Receiving Team Lead (Current Employee), Addison, ILJune 30, 2014
Pros: fun place to work at
Cons: no training skills
Daily work consists of receiving products. Verifying all items that come in with the PO that they are correct. Tagging all items and making sure they match. Stage products for put away. Report all daily activities to managements.Employees are easy to work with.

The only things that are cons is lack of training and not enough staff

NIce job Pay could be better
Assistant Office Manager (Former Employee), Oaks, PAMay 23, 2014
Pros: you could promote
Cons: working over the weekend and the pay could be better
My time here wasn't all that bad for the most part. Work was mainly over the weekend for the sales with a day or two during the regular work week to fix the show room floor and prep for the upcoming weekend. Most of the Managers there are workers who were promoted. Working over the weekend was a bit dull spending the nights there trying to get teh cash to balance out.

Delightful place to work.
Furniture Sales Associate (Former Employee), Langhorne, PADecember 6, 2012
Pros: fast paced, never boring, great income for a closer, 3 day workweek. control all parts of the sale through delivery.
Cons: long periods standing, not for order fillers, but rather sellers of great values.
If you can follow a proven philosophy and can close, you will enjoy selling at the Dump. There are a wide variety of items to sell, and inventory varies widely from week to week. Customers love visiting and shopping there. There are interesting 'add ons' so you can really build your sale and earn money. Associates are given the opportunity to gain product and industry knowledge from managers who often have national exposure to the business. There is no 'up' system, so you can approach any visitor. I enjoyed assisting and welcomed assistance from my coworkers. Many visit the stores after they separate. At the Dump, you have to sell what you have, exactly what you are looking at; the 'sample' .I enjoyed walking the floor at the beginning of the sales week and seeing all of the new item in inventory for sale. I loved the 3 day work week too.

Not a good place to work
Customer Service Representative (Former Employee), Houston, TXOctober 21, 2012
Pros: absolutely none
Cons: bad management, terrible culture, bait and switch retailer
This company is the epitome of crooked! Do not pass go, do not collect $200, run! They have very deceiving business practices. They are a mega bait and switch retailer. Look up their reviews via google to get a better understanding. So if they treat their customer's terrible what do you think do to their employees? Right, they treat them horrible. Management was never around and when they were they avoided doing anything that required them to do their jobs. Don't waste your time with this company please.
