Senior Ticketing Agent (Current Employee), New York, NY – May 22, 2014
Pros: travel benefits, excellent health plan
Cons: irregular hours
A typical day at work, mmmmm, lets see; there is no typical day at work. Everyday is different and I learned how to deal with it for what it is. The day is going to happen whether I'm ready or not so I have to deal with it as it comes. Take a deep breath and keep going. Having managers that are there for me when I need them and are willing to back me – more... up is a real A+. Co workers that are team players makes life much easier. Being there for each other when it really counts. Having a strong team makes my work life comfortable.
The hardest part of my job is dealing with uncomfortable situations but yet its a part of the job and and it has to be dealt with in the best way as it will happen in everyday life. A irate customer, a difficult phone call, a delayed flight has to be dealt with, using tact and empathy.
The most enjoyable part of the job is getting the job done well and achieving the ultimate success rate. Going the extra mile and getting a happy customer. – less

Data Entry Operator (Former Employee), Dubai, DU – September 10, 2012
Enrolled as a trainee to their Revenue Accounts Department with the responsibilities to ensure the sales and flown ticket level data is captured and processed in the Airline Revenue Accounting system accurately and as per industry standards.
Working for Emirates is a great for traveling. Management is excellent and employees are talented and ambitious. The only down fall for working in Cabin Crew is the pay and lack of retirement plans. I would recommend this job for a person who is in there early 20's. I would not recommend this job for the more serious professional looking for long-term – more... investment. – less
