Please note: This is a straight commission position but with expenses paid and other benefits provided. However, 1st Year compensation of $100,000 is very attainable.

Summary:
Manages sales activities of organization by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors. Develops a pipeline of customers interested in energy efficient projects, including: lighting, HVAC, power factor correction, CNG, and others (see company website for more details www.theenergysolutiongroup.com ).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

*Develops and implements strategic sales plans to accommodate corporate goals.

*Directs sales forecasting activities and sets performance goals accordingly.

*Reviews market analyses to determine customer needs, price schedules, and discount rates.

*Directs staffing, training, and performance evaluations to develop and control sales program.

*Directs channel development activity and coordinates sales distribution by establishing sales territories, quotas, and goals.

*Assigns sales territory to future sales representatives.

*Analyzes sales statistics to formulate policy and assist dealers in promoting sales.

*Delivers sales presentations to key clients in coordination with sales representatives.

*Meets with key clients, assisting sales representative with maintaining relationships and negotiating and closing deals.

*Prepares periodic sales report showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion.

*Recommends or approves budget, expenditures, and appropriations for research and development work.

*Compiles lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads, based on information from newspapers, business directories, industry ads, trade shows, Internet Web sites, and other sources.

*Sets appointments for team-selling opportunities.

*Travels throughout assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers to solicit orders, or talks with customers in person or by phone.

*Obtains orders for audits and project sales

*Prepares reports of business transactions and keeps expense accounts.

*Works with inside company representatives to keep account activities up to date.

*Develops and maintains relationships with customer’s purchasing contacts.

*Attends trade shows as necessary.

Desired Skills & Experience

At least 10 years proven sales experience required

A very strong contact list and networking group is needed

Experience with: Big Box stores, Manufacturing, Distribution, Commericial Real Estate, Facilities Management, REITS, and similar industries a MUST!

Required Abilities:
High energy and a desire enhance a career in sales
Excellent time-management skills
Good written and verbal communication skills
Experience with MS Office
Sales experience required
Ability to prospect for new business opportunities
Negotiate and close deals
Travel to customer sites when required
Excellent references required
