Quality/Mechanical Inspector J02 - 4211
A growing and progressive Exton/Chester County area ISO certified Company seeks a skilled, experienced, dependable, motivated & detail oriented self-starting individual to fill an important role as Quality/Mechanical Inspector. Our client sources and supplies customers with precision machined components, stampings, bearings, castings, forgings, and many more. This is a temp to perm position and a great opportunity for an applicant with CMM and GD&T experience.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
Inspection and measurement of machined, stamped, cast and formed mechanical components for the automotive, aerospace and similar industries.
Responsibility includes attention to detail, generating and maintaining records of inspections performed, adherence to documented procedures, corrective and preventive action involvement and other ISO regulated inspection department activity.
Geometric, Dimensioning & Tolerance required, CMM programming is a plus.
A minimum of 3 years’ experience is required.
CQI (Quality Inspector Certification) and ASQ (American Society for Quality) is desired.
Microsoft Office experience is also required.
Ideal candidate will have worked within the following fields…. agricultural, transportation, automotive aftermarket, commercial manufacturing, electronics, energy, and industrial markets.
Previous measurement and inspection skills required.
GD&T experience required, CMM Programming experience is a plus
Associate's Degree is desirable but not required,
Offers are contingent on the successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
Base Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 /Hour
