A Network Engineer, who possesses strong networking skills, has a customer service orientation, integrity and a passion for excellence. The Network Engineer is responsible for the implementation of technology solutions, relating to workstations, servers, networks and software. The right candidate will be detail oriented, possess strong critical thinking and problem solving skills.
To be successful in this position, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily.

Engineer and implement system solutions for clients using technologies that meet their needs
Design, implementation, and support services for Microsoft core business applications: Windows Server, Exchange, SQL, SharePoint, etc.
Implementation and support involving virtual environments built on VMare, Microsoft, and Citrix
Technical implementation services at the network level: WAN and LAN connectivity, routers, firewalls, and security
Remote access solution implementation and support: VPN, Terminal Services, and Citrix
System documentation and consulting services to include system reviews and recommendations
Work through project tickets and phases as assigned by a Project Manager

Bachelor’s degree related to business or information systems with typically at least four years of network support experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Professional IT Certifications, such as: Microsoft MCP, MCSA, or MCSE, SonicWall CSSA, Cisco CCNA, VMware VCP, or Citrix CCEA or CCIA
Experience with firewall installation and administration (SonicWall or similar)
Competent in communicating technical information to technical as well as non-technical end users.
Analytical, critical and deductive reasoning required to troubleshoot network issues.
Ability to multi-task, follow processes and procedures and take direction positively.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit for long periods of time; talk or hear; perform fine motor, hand and finger skills in the use of a keyboard, telephone, or writing. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; and reach with arms and/or hands. Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. The employee will spend their time in an office environment with a quiet to moderate noise level and in the field as required.
