Typical day at work is very busy. As a new employee, had to complete a daily work activity. Casino has 2300+ employees, so appointments were required for employees. Most of my training was from the HR Manager. She was very controlling, detail-oriented and had very strict standards. She micromanaged and scrutinized every process in the department. Workplace culture was very strict since moving in to the newly constructed casino.
The hardest part of the job was limited creativity. Every single process had specific instructions and had to be followed to a "T". The most enjoyable part of the job was the training and support the HR Manager provided. The HR staff was very helpful and supportive as well. They gave me the opportunity to return to back to work after years of being a stay at home mom.
