Highly Organized Bookkeeper with good communication skills. Must be proficient in Word, Excel, Access and especially QuickBooks. Use company software to keep books and accounting records of financial transactions for a retail company. Reconcile and balance accounts. Verify and post details of business transactions to subsidiary accounts into computer files. Summarizes details in separate ledgers or computer files and transfer data into general ledger in QuickBooks.

Compiles reports to show statistics, such as cash receipts and expenditures, accounts payable and receivable, profit and loss, and other items pertinent to operation of business. Calculate employee wages, commissions and prepares checks for payment and withholding, Social Security, and other tax reports. Files fed and state sales taxes electronically. Can complete records to or through trial balance.

Should have experience doing bookkeeping for a company doing at least 2 million in sales. Work week is 35-42 hrs, 9-6 Tues – Sat. Min. experience 3 years. Must pass background check. Salary based on experience and benefits included. Join a great team!
