Excellent full time position available for a Social Media Manager to become part of our Communications & Marketing Department at The Hebrew Home at Riverdale – an internationally acclaimed, not-for-profit, nonsectarian geriatric service organization located on 33 acres along the Hudson River.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing and monitoring a successful measurable social media strategy. The social media plan needs to engage several audiences, including older adults who directly use our services as well as “baby boomers” who are researching our services for a parent or loved one. Social media channels will include but are not limited to a blog, Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube. The primary goal is to develop a comprehensive, creative and effective social media strategy to engage and grow our online social community to those audiences and to reinforce our leadership position in the geriatric healthcare category.
The candidate we seek must have a Bachelor’s Degree in advertising, marketing or communications, relevant experience and a successful track record in social media marketing and community management. A creative thinker with the ability to work independently and with collaborative teams in a fast paced environment is essential. Strong interpersonal, communication and writing skills and in-depth knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Pinterest, LinkedIn, etc. and how metrics apply to social space is required. Knowledge of Microsoft Office essential.
