Identify and pursue potential new business opportunities through referral sources, personal contacts, and various lead sources.
Qualify prospects to determine insurance needs and utilize external and internal sources to develop cost effective insurance solutions.
Work with internal account managers to complete RFP and selection of potential markets.
Develop and deliver formal proposals of insurance program, and work with internal colleagues to implement policies and renewal of client.
Develop and implement marketing plans to generate revenue for the agency.
Proven ability to originate new business opportunities and convert to sales.
Develop referral sources and relationships through contact and presentation of agency resources.
Excellent listening skills as well as client follow through.
Resourcefulness and ability to analyze complex problems
Adherence to ethical business and professional standards and commitment to professional development
Must have appropriate Property & Casualty license within first quarter of initial hire
