Position Title: Admission Representative
Status: Full-Time Exempt
Location: The International Culinary Center, CA Campus - San Jose, CA
Hours: 11am - 8pm
Reporting Line: Director of Admission
In this role you will have the opportunity to make a difference by working with students and building relationships. The Associate Director of Admission evaluates a perspective student's needs, goals and career outcomes to identify if our school has the appropriate program, environment and services.
Duties and Responsibility
Provide professional leadership and top level student customer service at all times.
Successfully work within a team-oriented, scripted environment to conduct phone and or face to face interviews and select potential students from an initial intake phone interview through enrollment and registration.
Successfully meet and exceed daily, weekly, monthly, session, and annual target goals for enrollment and completion of students as determined by management.
Attend initial and on-going training sessions to keep up to speed with admissions and retention skills techniques, as well as regulatory and compliance.
Acquire a working knowledge of marketing efforts, program offerings, basic financial aid principles, and career services.
Successful ability to generate and enroll Personal Referral inquiries on a daily, weekly, monthly, session, and annual target as defined by management.
Successfully utilize phone, email, text, social media, campusvue - student information systems, and other technologies to actively communicate and provide the highest level of customer service.
Effectively communicate with perspective students as well as build interdepartmental relationships.
Ability to educate others on the school's programs, services and philosophy

Bachelor's degree preferred
Prior sales experience is a must.

Experience in a professional outbound call center or admissions office with a focus on customer service
Passion for admissions, education, and continuous learning environment
Possess a sincere interest in helping others achieve life's goals
Ability to understand and appreciate students and co-workers
Ability to work a flexible schedule to include some evenings and Saturday mornings
Basic Microsoft Office and database experience (CampusVue experience preferred)
Proficiency with technology and sales management systems
