Great place to work
Vascular Technologist II (Current Employee), Houston, TX – April 15, 2013
Pros: it is the number one cardiovascular hospital in the state of texas
Cons: pay is not competetive-
I am currently working at the Methodist Hospital in the Texas Medical Center in Houston, TX. It is one of the nicest places I have ever worked. I do vascular ultrasound and it is always busy here so you have to like busy to work here. We do innovative work here and work for vascular surgery as opposed to radiology. The day is always challenging with – more... never a dull moment. – less

Good
Staff Nurse (Current Employee), Houston, TX – March 19, 2013
The patient ratio of nurse's and PCA's (patient clinical assistant) is not good. To achieve the very Good score's we got as a hospital is to give more than an extra mile, extra, extra. Do not get me wrong, the place is good over-all as it is Christ centered. Everything flows from there, making my hardest task a very rewarding one.

Great company with high level of employee pride
Director Business Development (Current Employee), Houston, TX – March 10, 2013
Pros: lots of change in direction/priorities..great learning experience in many areas.
Cons: sometimes went with easiest path even if financially didn't make sense.
Great company with high level of employee pride in the workplace. I have learned a great deal about interpersonal importance in internal decision making process. Highly relationship oriented in most decisions.
The most difficult part of the job has been seeing a great financial decision not implemented because it was too difficult to change.

Most enjoyable – more... part has been the constant changes in the job/leadership/priorities. I have enjoyed the chaos! – less

Patient Wound Care Liaison (Former Employee), Houston, TX – September 5, 2012
A 12 hr work day three days a week taking care of patients, along side a wonderful team of coworkers and mangement. The hardest part of my job is when nothing could be done for my patient on my unit when she is on the road torecovery and has to be rushed back to ICU. Most enjoyable thing is to see the patients go home and most satisfacting is when the – more... patients return in a few weeks to say thanks and to show us how well they are doing – less
