Pros: great benefits
Cons: pay raise got froze with union contract
This was one of my most enjoyable work experiences. I worked with wonderful people. We were a team and got along so well. Working with mental health individuals can be a task but everyone here made it easier to handle. This was one place that I did look forward going to on a daily basis. Here I was responsible for checking clients in and directing them accordingly, contacting physicians when their clients arrived, taking financial paperwork and insurance information and copying for financial intake. Taking payments for the facility and balancing book at the end of the work day. Scheduling transportation for clients in need, checking clients out and scheduling their follow up appointments. The hardest part of this job was getting emotionally involved when a client would discuss things with you, knowing there was nothing you could do to help but try to give them a pleasant experience while they were there.
