The Kansas City Salvation Army is about keeping an individual in thier system. I feel that they set up guts for failure and treat thier employees very poorly. Right now, the Majors of the Kansas City ARC do not know what they are doing. All I hear about is money, money, money. And then find out that the water that was donated for disaster relief is being sold in the stores. Wow, what a poor excuse for a facility that claims to help people. If William Booth was alive he'd be kicking some behind cause this is nothing like what he intended the Salvation Army to be.

The comparisons here are laughable. Sure the Salvation Army is supposed to he non-profit and it's proceeds are supposed to fund programs for all those in need- but if you've booked the expenses like I have, then questioned like I have- why in the world aren't "we" the "finance department" ensuring that salvation army policies are enforced with regard to spending limits ... you would have been told just the same "I'm not telling the 'boss' what he can/cannot spend." What a terrible excuse of a nonprofit organization this is. Don't send your money to them, it pays for "outings" for the officers, majors, their wives and children and then- booked as "business travel/meals." There is absolutely no limit on what they can spend- because the one person spending is the person in charge of hiring and firing you. It's disgusting.

Salvation Army pickup your donations whereas Goodwill does not!
I wonder why people donate to Goodwill?!
GOODWILL IS ONE OF THE MOST PROFITABLE CHAIN STORES.
WHY DO YOU DONATE THEM?!

The two are absolutely not the same. One helps people the other exploits handicapped people by paying them under minimum wage and pay executives millions. Yes Goodwill is totally for profit and exploit cheap handicapped labor to boost those profits in the guise of helping those same handicapped and underprivileged workers.
Most supermarkets in the country will employ handicapped people and give them at least minimum wage plus good benefits.
