Stuard (Former Employee) – Lake Charles, LA – August 2, 2016
Worked here for around 3 months and hated every second of it pay was only 8 an hour for 70+ hours check was so small because they took out their "part" which was about 30 dollars it was horrible and had no time with my family
cleaner (Former Employee) – Las Vegas, NV – July 26, 2016
I am near 50 and never in my lifetime, business or professional have I been talked to and demeaned the way I was with this place. Its a bad company to be associated with weather you are a client or an employee. Save face, save dignity.
The company seen very to work for,the management .
Loss prevention (Former Employee) – Long Island City, NY – July 25, 2016
At look at the overall ratings that the company show ,that alone speak for itself, plus the management set the tone form the beginning, so each employers can followed the instructions. Each new employees that comes aboard had no problem.
Office Coordinator (Former Employee) – East Chicago, IN – July 13, 2016
This place is the most disorganized mess of a company I have ever worked for. Turnover rate is extremely high because they won't pay what people are worth so no one really cares about their job. The management hide points to keep terrible employees and also sweep incidents like fist fights under the rug. People quit for a few days and then decide to come back when they need to make money yet are welcomed back with open arms. I've been working since I was 14 years old and this is the most unreliable staff I have ever come across. At least 3-4 calloffs a day yet everyone is mad at management when they have to clean extra rooms. The housekeepers run the show here. Instead of having a few bad apples to work out, this entire fruit bowl is rotten with a few replantable seeds. BEWARE: as you will deal with a ton of headache for VERY little pay.
Housekeeper (Former Employee) – Lake Charles, LA – May 22, 2016
They talked about the workers as if they weren't people.the pay rate is awful and they over work you. They only have temp positions! The lady who interviews was really rude and had the worse attitude ever and they do NOT car about family emergencies at all. We are people just the same treat us as such, not bulls and horses to be worked to death. I wouldn't wish this company on my worse nightmare alot needs to change! Was told we were getting a raise and that did not happen ever.
Stewardess (Current Employee) – Lake Charles, LA – May 8, 2016
We get paid 8.50 and only get one night off, we are being overworked and being treated like we are not worth anything. The workers of the casino believes that we are the subhuman s of the world. To top it off, our managers talk to us any kind of way. We wipe the walls, stainless steel everything, scub and mob the floors. Wash dishes sometimes one person is to clean a whole banquets kitchen and clean three kitchens at a certain time we need to be done. He rushes us and cusses us out. I believe we are underpaid and I am an American citizen by the way. Is this company for us or for the foreigners?
Short break, and evil boss and under payment and over work
Terrible company that lies about benefits, pay rate, & advancement
Public Area Attendant (Former Employee) – North Randall, OH – April 14, 2016
Terrible company, always short on supplies,no management direction or leadership. Poor communication with its employees(you have to call 3-4 times to get a answer in the office. Makes you join a sham of a union just to be employed. No benefits, toxic work environment.
Cleaner (Former Employee) – Las Vegas, NV – March 19, 2016
its all about budget with this company. They will cut staff to save money and fire when jobs not complete. Its a no win. Save your stress level. If your illegal then its an option other than that, move on
Housekeeper (Former Employee) – La Jolla, CA – March 10, 2016
This company is manages by husband and the wife? Very scary conflict of interest rule there. the Husband is the General Manager and the wife is the HR Director. I will think about twice before applying for this company. They both are in the business to make money by exploiting workers.
This company is best served to help people get their citizenship, not for the American worker trying to make a living
Inspector/Supervisor (Former Employee) – Lake Ozark, MO – March 7, 2016
This company is not for the worker. I was hired on with a promise of a raise in 3 months-after 11 months still no raise. The hours were very unstable as with any resort and their busy times vs slow times. They require their housekeepers to do more with less and don't seem to care about the workers. If we had a complaint, there was no one to go to with it. We had no recourse with issues and were bullied by a person who believed she was in charge and the manager refused to do anything or back the girls. I would not recommend working for this company
Girls were fun to work with
Low pay, no support from management, no help resolving problems
kitchen steward (Former Employee) – New Orleans, LA – January 19, 2016
The employee in office are sometimes very nasty they dont give . You a chance let you go for no reason you all could do better. they talk to you when I can to work for them I can from A job 11.29 hour but I want to come back
no break but lunch where I use work temporarily group work hour lunch
Cleaner (Current Employee) – Cleveland, OH – January 15, 2016
I work at the racino thru the service companies the other departments dont give us any respect they treat us as if we are unwanted guest but have no problems with us cleaning up behind them if my management team would work together this job wouldnt be bad at all but the other shifts leave their work for my shift which is hard when we have our own work all shifts are under staffed and over worked which is why there is a high turn over rate but the end of the day it pays my bills and in this job market full time is hard to come by so I am grateful for my job good or bad
housekeeper (Former Employee) – Kansas City, MO – November 2, 2015
I would not recommend this job to any one its overworked assignments 23 rooms sometimes unorganized disfunctional work environment management is rude and it reminds you of an off beat ghetto highschool very unprofessional stealing drinking drug users nepotism
inspector (Former Employee) – Kansas city mo – October 18, 2015
At first it was fun and I loved the job. I was promoted to inspector after a about a week of housekeeping and because of jealousy from other employees I was being demoted... We were over worked majorly. 15 rooms per housekeeper for only 8.75 an hour. They have no concern for their employees whatsoever. They do not treat ppl fairly and decision made by management is selfish and personal. I would not recommend anyone working for this cult of a company
housekeeper (Former Employee) – ameristar hotel and casino – October 14, 2015
I wouldn't recommend anyone going thru this service. I was hired and worked three days for them to tell me I couldn't work there because my background check (that they obviously didn't complete before hiring me) came back with some "unfavorable " things on it. I was honest on the application so this is in no way my fault.. now I am getting the run around on my check. I only had about 15 hours on it and it's been almost two weeks to receive my measly little check. Talk about feeling USED. They need to start following proper protocol for the hiring process.. I guess that's corporate America for you. :)
Good environment, pleasant people, i have learned a great deal of things that I like to use in an everyday challenges, manager and co-workers are great, the hardest part of the job is not enough hours per week in the slow season, even do I have not worked more than 32 hours in 2015, and I like to work 40 or more hours. The most enjoyable part of the job is showing up to work in the morning, since I like to be working and not wasting time.
