Responsibility for all aspects of product training for Product Finishes Division including:
Development and maintenance of training curriculum
Training program execution in the areas of product knowledge & business management
Function as a consultant to identify new training needs
Training facility mechanical upkeep and maintenance
Utilization of electronics presentation equipment
Manage Training Center staff
Recruitment and development of the training department staff
Remain current on competitive product information and usage
Manage product lines and supplies required for complete execution of defined training program
Assist in annual Technical Representative training
Product Testing and new product validation
Provide input on products technical information (Product Data Sheets, Label Directions, MSDS)
Ongoing competitive benchmarking
Conduct new product testing and validation prior to launch.
Work directly with Technical applications team to provide a secondary source of validation for new product development projects. Assist in the field trial process
Maintain Market intelligence and understanding
Organize time with the field organization to support & understand market needs Identify and participate in key industry organizations
Identify sources for key market intelligence
Required: 2-3 years of successful experience as a Sales Representative, Facility Manager or in a related Product Marketing/Product Manager role
Candidate should possess excellent customer service skills and listening skills.
Candidate must also posses the ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects.
Must have a valid driver's license. Must have a performance rating of standard or better.
Computer skills (i.e. Microsoft Office - Excel, Access, Word, Power Point)
Preferred: Significant coatings experience in a related or similar field Prior experience in a product management, marketing communications or strategic marketing role Microsoft Powerpoint
Required: Bachelor's Degree
Preferred: Bachelor Business Degree – Marketing (BBA) MBA
