For 9 years, The Spanish Academy has offered Spanish classes for children, ages 2 - 10, at preschools, day care centers, elementary schools, churches, community centers and country clubs. The Spanish Academy is Atlanta's first bilingual preschool, and we offer classes to centers using an immersion curriculum, which immerses children into a foreign language in a fun and exciting environment. Our classes teach Spanish using songs, poems, books, puppets, crafts, and games.
Our goal is to make learning Spanish FUN!
We have 2 different programs to provide Spanish Classes at your school or center: Curriculum Based Classes or After School Classes. In both programs, you can pick to which age groups you offer Spanish classes.
Curriculum Based Classes: In this program, the preschool or center offers a weekly Spanish class that is incorporated in the school's curriculum during school hours to all students in the selected age groups. The classes typically last 30 minutes per class; however, we customize each program according to the desires of the school. The school pays for the classes and offers them as a part of their curriculum. After School Classes: In this program, the Spanish classes are offered to the selected age groups after school hours, and the parents decide if they would like their child to participate in the classes. The classes range from 1 to 3 hours. The parents pay a fee for their child to participate in the classes. Price per class varies depending on the length of the class.
All of our teachers are native Spanish speakers, have bachelor's degrees, background checks, are CPR & first aid certified, and take continuing education classes each year. All classes taught by teachers of The Spanish Academy are covered under our liability insurance policy.
We hope we are able to help you offer an outstanding Spanish curriculum at your school!
