Lead Customer Service (Former Employee), Eugene, OR – May 21, 2012
Pros: great hours, fantastic healthcare, pay
Cons: limited promotions
I was a customer service lead, so a typical day at work consisted of ordering frontend items (ie: candy, soda, supplies etc). Hardest part was being the first person customers would come to when they were not happy about service, product, etc yet that taught – more... me to listen and understand. The most enjoyable part was being able to work with fun people and the public although things were not always peaches and cream. – less

This job consists of maintenance and repair of customer and store owned bicycles, skis, snowboards and racquets. The hardest part of the job is that when it comes to the technical side of things, many times you are on your own because most of the employees are not properly trained to be able to assist in the completion of work. On the other hand, completing all this work alone is quite an accomplishment allows you to take pride in your work. – less
