Director of Sales & Marketing is responsible for: short and long term planning and day-to-day operations of the group and catering; assists General Manager in preparation of the marketing, advertising, sales plans, programs and annual budget; manages within approved plans and budgets; daily operations, training, and directing of the sales staff.
Requirements include: advanced knowledge of the principles and practices within the sales/marketing/hospitality profession.
Ideal candidate will be experienced in leading a diverse team of Sales Managers, Catering Managers, Event Managers, hourly coordinators and Revenue Management. Drive top line revenue for a 220 room hotel as well as 180,000 sf convention center, auditorium and coliseum. Knowledge of Sales and Marketing for a multi-faceted facility required.
Experience in ticketed event sales desirable.

Must have minimum 5 yrs previous Hotel DOSM experience
Big Box Convention sales experience
