Receptionist, Toledo, OH - April 29, 2014
A typical day at work involves checking in patients for various appointments. This includes updating patient demographic information and insurance information. We generally move at a fast pace and work both on paperwork and the computer. While it may be difficult to have much flexibility in my department, the management is run well, overall. The hardest part of my job is keeping up with all of the paperwork. I work at the main location of my job and my department is the only department that is allowed to update information. That being said, having multiple "satellite offices" can make it difficult to keep up with all of the updates on top of taking care of our live patients. The most enjoyable part of the job is working in a close-knit environment and working with co-workers as a team.
