Productive work place
Student Manager (Former Employee), Dinning Services – January 29, 2013
Pros: flexibilty
Cons: long hours, short breaks
A typical day at work is ensuring that the customers are happy. Best lessons learned are those that are taught through one's mistakes. My co-workers were great people to work with, we had no problems getting along. My Job was never complicated, putting someone's need before your is sometimes difficult but that was my job. Most enjoyable part of my job – more... was seeing people smile and be happy with the service they receive. – less

Pros: it is college
Cons: being priced right out of attending
I am a student. The school is over priced. I am surprised I am still able to attend with the constant tuition hikes.

you do not get what you pay for. looking at other schools in the area to obtain my Cisco/ networking degree.

Productive workplace and overall great people to work with.
Office Assistant (Former Employee), Akron, OH – October 21, 2012
Pros: people were great to work with, overall job was easy.
Cons: the job was slow moving at times, there wasn't a lot for me to do.
A typical day at work for me would be to come in and check my email and voicemail, usually there would be a to-do list in my email and I would go from there. I really enjoyed my co-workers, they were very easy to get along with. The job was a great learning opportunity, my boss was very approachable and easy to talk to. She helped me grow a lot as a – more... person and as an employee. – less

A diverse, fast paced environment.
Senior Computer Technician (Former Employee), Akron, OH – September 3, 2012
Pros: great organization
Cons: parking
As the only Apple hardware tech on campus , I didnt have much room for error so I enjoyed the pressure. I also worked on PC's.
I learned that I'm a leader - people would look to me as the "go to" guy or the last defense.

It's a job for college students just to make pocket change.
Community Assistant (Former Employee), Akron, Ohio – June 7, 2012
Pros: do homework at work and meet all the residents.
Cons: bad management (upper level college students), extremely low pay, and they lay you off each semester.
On typical day, I sign in and out guest, maintain a equipment log, and on occasion train other people to do the same job. I learned that in college kids should not be incharge of such positions becuase of the lack of maturity. The hardest part of the job was trying make money to pay bills and stay awake. The most enjoyable part of the job was being – more... able to do homework at work. – less
