Was a great environment, loved my employers. They worked around my school schedule and made me feel comfortable. I don't have anything negative to say about them!

During my Master's study at University of Akron, I have grown professionally. I have developed many technical skills by being a part of many projects. I have gathered leadership skills by organizing different events at University of Akron.

I have been able to advance my career in several areas through the mentorshiop and encouragement I have received. These incluse such thing as: I have published multiple articles, presented on educational topics nationally, member of OBN Nursing Education Advisory council, Item writer for NCLEX

A typical day at work is ensuring that the customers are happy. Best lessons learned are those that are taught through one's mistakes. My co-workers were great people to work with, we had no problems getting along. My Job was never complicated, putting someone's need before your is sometimes difficult but that was my job. I am a student. The school is over priced. I am surprised I am still able to attend with the constant tuition hikes.

you do not get what you pay for. looking at other schools in the area to obtain my Cisco/ networking degree.

A typical day at work for me would be to come in and check my email and voicemail, usually there would be a to-do list in my email and I would go from there. A typical day consisted of receiving calls from students with concerns and carrying about the necessary duties to ensure that those concerns were sent to the right people to be fixed in a timely matter. Awesome coworkers and a great work/life balance.

As the only Apple hardware tech on campus , I didnt have much room for error so I enjoyed the pressure. I also worked on PC's.
I learned that I'm a leader - people would look to me as the "go to" guy or the last defense.

The guy who hired me in was great. I had some things going on in my family life at the time which he was very understanding about. I learned how to do a lot of "real world" jobs as a student here.

On typical day, I sign in and out guest, maintain a equipment log, and on occasion train other people to do the same job. I learned that in college kids should not be incharge of such positions becuase of the lack of maturity. The hardest part of the job was trying make money to pay bills and stay awake.
