Program Manager, Student Financial Aid Office, Cincinnati, OH - March 3, 2016
I enjoyed doing community outreach and managing the Cincinnati Pride Grant (CPG) a multi-million dollar grant that served Cincinnati Public School District graduates. A typical day at work included reviewing recipients financial accounts; assuring that money was posted properly. I was also responsible for visiting 3-4 high schools daily concerning the University of Cincinnati admissions and financial aid process, as well as, affirming that students had submitted all necessary paperwork or informing students of what they were missing. Management was great, in fact when I'm in Cincinnati I still connect with a few of my old bosses. The work was both fulfilling and worthwhile. I enjoyed working in diverse communities and providing opportunities to those in need.
