not a very good job
Key Holder/Stock Associate (Former Employee), Las Vegas, NV –
Pros: always busy
Cons: lousy management
When working at The Walking Company, I thought that was the worse job I can ever come across (until I found Bloomingdales). Management was too demanding, as soon as walking in to work, one was given a very large amount to duties to perform before given the chance to clock in. The times always seem to clash with my hours at Ann Taylor and there were – more...  no vacation time until your fully complete 1 full year, which is fine, until they deny the 1 week request you applied 6 mos in advance. – less

The Walking Company
Assistnat manager/customer service rep (Former Employee), Tacoma, WA –
Pros: great people, wonderfull work enviroment, awsome exsperience
Cons: underpays employees, not great ethics in some departments
The walking company under pays their mangement severly but it has good people working for them they are felxible with their scheduals but unfair when it comes to letting people go. For example my case They filed chapter 18 and then shortly after cleaned house which included all managment in the seattle area i.e me. My daughter was born with a heart – more...  condition in which i was forced to step down as assistant manger due to not being able to work full time which is fine but they then insure everything i did was all the sudden wrong and i had worked there doing the same thing for over 2 years. It wasn't the first or the last time i had seen them use this way to fire their employees so i was expecting it when they let me go. but all in all I would go back in a hear beat because the overall exsperience was priceless. – less

Assistant Store Business Manager (Current Employee), Highland Village, TX –
Pros: i enjoyed working here, learning and teaching about the produsct sold.
Cons: store closed, i am now at another store.
The world’s leading retailer of comfort footwear. The best service, the best price, and the best selection of the world’s best brands. The training and advancement was there, until they closed the store I was working at.
